Originally, Forspoken _, Square Enix's new IP, was planned to reach PS5 and PC in May of this year, but the title was delayed until October. However, this date changed again to January 2023. Well, although for the moment there is no official response, a small fact could reveal when Xbox users and, perhaps, Switch can enjoy this delivery. At the end of the Forspoken trailer that was presented during The Game Awards 2021, It can be seen that exclusivity in consoles with PS5 is two years , an unusual amount for PlayStation.
Thus, there is the possibility that Forspoken ceases to be an exclusive PS5 until 2025. However, This is not a guarantee that this happens . Recall that final fantasy vii remake had an exclusivity with the PS4 of one year, and until today we have not seen an Xbox version of the Square Enix game.
As if that were not enough, this time of exclusivity is unusual for PlayStation. Usually, the company establishes a period of one year where certain games can only be found on its consoles, as is the case of deathloop and ghostwire: Tokyo, which can reach Xbox until September of this year and 2023 respectively . Even Final Fantasy XVI has the same time of exclusivity.
