Long, Long Ago is a tune taking care of nostalgia, written in 1833 by English author Thomas Haynes Bayly. Originally called The Long Ago , its name was apparently transformed by the editor Rufus Wilmot Griswold when it was first published, posthumously, in a Philly magazine, in addition to a collection of other tracks and rhymes by Bayly.
