So far, the Netflix series for Resident Evil has only shown itself in a few short teasers, now there is finally a first real trailer for the live action adaptation, which finally reveals a little more and is quite visually impressive-or you can even get two To see the trailer when you are attentive.
that awaits you in the Resident Evil series
As was previously known, the series is only loosely based on the games, but with Albert Wesker brings back the best-known resident Evil-Böse weight. In the series, he is embodied by Lance Reddick, who is known from John Wick or for his role as Sylens in Horizon Forbidden West.
The series follows Wesker's daughters Jade and Billie. In the first seconds of the trailer we, accompanied by happy music, we get to see the apparently healed world of New Racoon City in 2022. Fans of the games are likely to be suspicious at the latest when the first logo of the Umbrella group flickers across the screen, but at the latest when the senior senior experiments in the laboratory on rats.
Of course, this is confirmed when the mood tips over in the second half of the trailer and suddenly presents a post-apocalyptic setting in the London in 2036. The world has now been overrun by Zombies. There is hardly anything to be seen from the following rapidly changing scenes, but the dark setting and bloody action should at least feel familiar for Resident Evil fans.
Especially for everyone who was not entirely convinced of the B-Movie mood of the last movie resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City, the rather serious and dark presentation of the new series could be interesting.
second hidden trailer
Anyone who took care of it very carefully could even get a second trailer to the series directly. In the first trailer, a link to the UMBRELLAISJOY.com page is shown briefly, which leads to an actual website with the second trailer. In addition to the creepy bear mascot, you can also find well-known monsters such as the licker:
The Resident Evil series should start on Netflix on July 14, 2022.

The Resident Evil series had hardly aroused my interest in the beginning. After all, similar to the film series with Milla Jovovich, she wants to move away from the games and also put Albert Wesker's daughters in the foreground. That sounded more like a fan fiction than the setup of a series for me.
After the last resident Evil film (Welcome to Raccoon City) was rather mediocre despite many references to the games, this trailer made me a little curious at least with the mood and production quality. And who knows, maybe I can get involved with the new characters.
What do you say about the new trailers about the Resident Evil series?
