Did Capcom stolen her opponent design for Resident Evil Village from a film? Did Activision Blizzard stolen the look of a call-of-duty figure? And has Valve acquired the design of her Steam controller? The answer: maybe! You can never be sure of such things, but it happens from time to time that people and companies accuse each other of having stolen an idea.
Did Doctor Strange 2 stolen from an indie game?
This has now also happened with a certain combat sequence from the new film Doctor Strange in the Multere of Madness. In the indie title Sword of Symphony developed by Stephen Ddungu, players can conjure up bright music notes and then fire them on an opponent. If you have seen Doctor Strange 2, this description will definitely be familiar to you. Therefore, Ddungu now accuses Marvel and Disney of coping with the concept of his game for their film.
Some fans of Ddungus work indicated the developer that the combat sequence in Doctor Strange 2 has some similarities to his project. As Ddungu reveals in an interview with Kotaku, he does not consider it unlikely that Disney has been inspired by the JRPG.
Has the combat scene from Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness actually only stolen? Wasn't that yours at all? Disney has not yet commented on the allegations, and it is unlikely that we will ever receive an answer to this question. But at least we know which actor almost had an appearance in Doctor Strange 2.
